FASTag Recharge — FAQs
How do I recharge my FASTag online?
Enter your vehicle number, confirm your issuing bank, choose an amount, and pay securely. FASTagJi supports recharge for all licensed bank-issued FASTags — no app install or bank login needed.
What is the minimum FASTag recharge amount?
You can recharge your FASTag from as little as ₹1 — some banks allow ₹1 while others set a slightly higher minimum. Top up any amount based on how much you travel on national highways.
How long does it take for the FASTag balance to update?
For most banks the balance is updated within a few minutes of your payment being confirmed, so recharge a little ahead of your journey so it reflects in time.
How early should I recharge before reaching a toll plaza?
Recharge at least 30 minutes before you reach the toll. Each toll plaza server refreshes its FASTag balance and blacklist / low-balance data roughly every 20 minutes, so a top-up done right at the plaza may not reflect in time — the lane could still read the old, low balance.
Which banks’ FASTags can I recharge here?
ICICI, HDFC, State Bank of India, Axis, IDFC FIRST, Kotak Mahindra, LivQuik and other licensed bank-issued FASTags. Pick your bank for a faster, pre-filled recharge.
How do I check my FASTag balance before recharging?
Use our free FASTag balance check tool or the FASTagJi app to see your current balance, then top up here if it is running low.
Is online FASTag recharge on FASTagJi safe?
Yes. Payments are processed through a secure gateway and FASTagJi never stores your card or bank details.
